Dr. Chinmoy K Bose
Dr Chinmoy K Bose is a Senior Professor and Head of Clinical Trials in a tertiary cancer centre in India. He has been involved in ovarian cancer drug development for the last 25 years and is an international peer in the field of ovarian cancer etiology. He serves as an examiner in oncology super speciality under NBE, Govt. of India.
Dr Bose obtained his MD qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Ramakrishna Mission Seva Prathisthana, Kolkata, India, in 1989. His sub-speciality training, registrarship and PhD (1996) in gynaecological oncology were completed in the Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute, Kolkata. Dr Bose has won Royal Society and DFG fellowships, and received multiple awards grants from AACR, ASCO, etc. He has many important publications include book chapters and a book on oncology and endocrinology. He serves as paid deputy editor and as associate editor in Springer-Nature Journals and in editorial board of many oncology, gynaecology and general medical journals.
Dr Bose has been serving as an expert in oncology, stem cell and investigational new drug committee in drug regulatory authority of the government of India for more than a decade’. He has served as an ethics committee member of a cancer hospital. He is the member professional associations like, IMA, FOGSI, AGOI, AACR, ASCO etc. He had served as executive member in Indian branch (FPAI) of IPPF, UK.
